But here are a few things that are also very helpful when packing your valuables. Believe it or not, newspaper or paper towels help as a cushion for valuables or breakables. When moving kitchen supplies make sure you wrap your glasses in newspaper or paper towels to help prevent them from breaking.
When packing up plates add a piece of newspaper or paper towel between the plates so you reduce the risk of them cracking or breaking during the move. The famous bubble wrap that we all played with as a kid and might still play with as adults is another great way to pack efficiently and safely. Tricks to Packing
Everyone has a different way that they pack their things. But here are a few tips and tricks that can make your packing strategy even more unique. Making a checklist of everything that you need to pack and organizing by sections such as kitchen, living room, bathroom, can make unpacking easier. If you want to be more specific like “guest bathroom” for example so you know what bathroom that box belongs to.
Setting yourself up for success will allow you to truly be successful in the end. Another tip is to purge all the things that you do not need and or want anymore so you aren’t packing and moving irrelevant items that you will never use again.
Storage Hacks
When you store your items you need to get the bang for your buck which means you need to store in the most efficient way possible. If you are storing furniture such as drawers use those draws to store some of your items that way you are using the space that you are paying for effectively. Another great way to save space is the power of stacking. Stacking boxes, chairs, and things on furniture can make it so you don’t have a ton of wasted space.
